We Get It
Andy’s a decent guy. The country will find out that his two Democratic Victories in a Red State were over two GOP candidates so bad they could have been created in a lab for him. Want to help the people of Kentucky as you say? Could have run for Senate where the GOP holds on by a thin margin and used the political capital your father handed you and you grew - more capital than any politician in the history of Kentucky. But instead of strapping himself to the mast and resisting the Siren Call of Presidential politics, he dove right in, instead.

I love Charles Booker, but, Andy should have run for the Senate. Those were my thoughts, too.
I wish him well, though. He's a very effective governor, an executive rather than a legislative position. Who was the last Senator to be elected to the White House? (One guess allowed.) While I find his positions insufficient to the radical changes necessary to make the government responsive to the people, he is a quick learner, so expect to see him adopting a more progressive stance than at present.
