I Will Not Tone Down My Rhetoric
I will not tone down my rhetoric.
I will not surrender the national conversation to the very people who want to end the nation as we know it.
I will not be bullied by the people on the one hand who advocated for violence and now seek to use that violence to silence me.
I will not be shamed on the other hand by the people who should be defending this Republic but have piled loss upon loss with no end in sight playing by rules only they follow.
I will not forget that Martin Luther King, Jr. understood the role the White Moderate played in his subjugation
.
I will not be a White Moderate.
I will not stop condemning White Christian Nationalists.
I will not collaborate with the enemy my father fought in the Ardennes Forest. I will not betray my son‘s service in the Middle East. I will not diminish my own service in Germany in the Cold War by restraining my criticism of a man beholden to our enemies.
I will not respect the Other Side. I will not pretend this is an academic argument about Supply Side Economics. Which was also a lie.
I will never stop believing we can be better. I will never stop wondering why we aren‘t.

I will not stop calling out Project 2025.
I will resist.
